Product Sustainability Indicator

We continuously enhance our production and utilities to conserve resources and recover energy ensuring every Exa product contributes to energy-efficient building materials in Saudi Arabia. Our sustainability process is measured through key performance indicators:

  • PME certified: National Center for Environmental Compliance (process monitoring & environmental controls).
  • Clean-energy Mix: Electricity and natural gas managed for operational efficiency and lower emissions.
  • Minimal Heat Emissions: Continuous maintenance of kilns and dryers to reduce excess heat.
  • Heat Recovery: Excess hot air from kilns is captured and reused to preheat kiln inputs and feed dryers.
  • Water & Fluid Recycling: Closed-loop recycling for process fluids to minimize waste.
  • Solid waste recycling: On-site recycling programs for production waste; recovery rates and details available on request.
  • Automation & digitalization: Advanced process control systems improve yield, reduce waste and optimize energy use.
